Lebanon Train - All Steamed Up: Great Train Robbery!
Lebanon, Ohio has a delightful nostalgic train that takes passengers through Warren County allowing for moments of reminiscing as well as creating brand-new memories. During a recent trip to Lebanon, we headed the words "All Aboard!" and joined the adventures of "All Steamed Up: Great Train Robbery!" - one of the themed train rides offered on the LM&M Railroad. We traveled back through the rough and tumble times of the old west alongside gold prospectors departing out of Lebanon. We were warned to be on the lookout for the Big Iron Rangers, a gang of notorious robbers known well in those parts. We got to talk with the crew, walk about the cabs and witness first hand the attempted train robbery (and successful take down of the robbers). Kameron got his own piece of gold (though he's lucky it wasn't snatched since he kept taking it out and sharing it with everyone on the train - NOT what the prospectors advised him to do). It was a really fun morning. I'm so glad I got to share this adventure with some special people. If in the area, check them out: http://www.lebanonrr.com/
The train..
Not sure why we all look so very concerned... or focused... it was all pretend afterall!
Cheese!
Inside the train - lots of action taking place.
Look behind me and you will see the "dead" robbers laying in the grass... the shoot-down just occurred
Me and the Conductor... we met him the day before as they were loading coal. SUPER NICE!
