3rd Annual Pintura Project Event

By 2:24 PM

Graffiti Artists painting live all day on over 10,000 sq. ft of wall space... this was definitely something that caught my interest.  As an artist, I love being able to watch others' talent come to life in whatever format that chooses to take on.  This event is taking place today at the Warehouses at 630 W. Central Blvd from 12pm - 8pm.  Jasmine and I caught the artists within the first hour they were starting and plan to visit back this evening as they are finishing up.  The talent is simply amazing. The Pintura Project was first organized in Orlando, FL in 2008. "Pintura" which means paint in most latin based languages, was a universal keyword to get the message across at a grand international scale. They have reached into a selective and elite group of artists; known for their contributions in the history of the modern American based art form known as "Graffiti".  The hope is to keep this movement growing and involve more and more spectators as the years move forward.  Maybe I’ll stretch my artistic reach and join in the fun next year.  Can’t wait to see the finished products tonight when we go back! Check it out:  http://pinturaproject.net  If you can make it down today.. look for Jasmine and I closer to 7pm when we return.  It's simply amazing!
