Caseser Creek State Park (Ohio)

By 8:18 PM

Easter was a gorgeous day... too gorgeous to spend inside.  So Missy and I ventured out with Winnie (her stinky and somewhat adorable dog) to Caesar Creek State Park in Waynesville, Ohio.  It's a beautifully spread out park that includes several wonderful finds such as the steep ravines, scattered hiking trails, multiple woodlands and lots of silence.  It was just fabulous! We went for a hike on several wonderfully hidden (and hilly) trails (got some great cardio with Winnie)... and explored the Pioneer Village.  Overall a great way to spend Easter day.

Bursts of energy... Winnie was a great sport humoring me for some great uphill cardio
Ahhh... catching our breath near the water

Putting Missy in charge of the "fun photos" resulted in great pics... here we are pulling a "Sofia"

See... not THAT much of a city girl...
Lots of really neat old Pioneer houses in the village dating back to the early 1800's
And yet somehow there was a mini-Walmart shopping cart in the Village - ?!?!

We had a standoff... who knew a frog could be so intense in a stare-down
