Dinosaur, Colorado
There's not much to this small town... Dinosaur, Colorado welcomes visitors as the gateway to the Dinosaur National Monument. Most people stopping here are coming off rafting adventures (usually the Yampa or Green River - we were heading to the Green River) and are greeted with only a handful of stops such as a liquor store (conveniently named Christie's Liquors), gas station, ice cream parlors or cafes. The entire town boasted a population of 335... wow! I thought I grew up in a small town.
