2010 Orlando Chili Cook-off
Anthony, Me and Jasmine - just prior to the rain!In Baldwin Park, from 12-5pm, Orlando's 2010 Chili Cook-off took place today. A fun event showcasing Central Florida's best amateur and professional chefs. A little bit of something for everyone, there were samplings of a wide variety of chilis (yes - I tried them even though they were mostly beef), wines, beer, tacos, hot dogs, music, bounce houses... truly something for the entire family. Jasmine and the kids met me at the Cook-off, which was held on the lawn across from Baldwin Park's Grace Hopper House. All proceeds went to supporting the Special Olympics. Until the rain came pouring down, it was a great day of fun... lots of great people watching to be had, that's for sure!! Even with the rain (which had us departing a little early) I had a terrific time.
