Downtown Orlando Lakes - New Jogging Route

By 10:01 AM

Living literally RIGHT off Lake Eola has its advantages... one of which is this gorgeous body of water around which I run at least three times a week.   It's easy and simple and I know how many times I need to run around the lake to hit my mileage goal for the day... but its also VERY BORING.  This year is all about living full... trying new things... stepping OUT of the norm and finding something new to step into, even if just for that one time to try it out.  So I decided to explore a new run through downtown Orlando.  LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!  Found the route on Track Shack's website and I highly recommend it for anyone living downtown looking for a new running journey.  There are lots of great lakes and fun parks along the way and some amazingly beautiful homes.  I've provided the route below for you... just be cautious with some of the turns... a few of the roads can be a little tricky and if you're not careful one missed road could land you in a seedier part of town.  I didn't snap too many photos since I only had the blackberry with me and I was jogging for the most part... but I did capture some of what's on this route.
